i saw this movie last night

this movie is …fast and slow at the same time. a story about a boy named kai and his hopeful journey to paris to find his girlfriend. but unfortunately she breaks up with him. he sought out local mobster (and real estate agent) for help with money to go to paris. Later kai needs to do a small task for the mobster that gets him caught in a whirlwind of adventure on the night before his trip to Paris.

there’s not much meaningful dialogue or anything like that but it’s funny, and it’s very..random…

during the film, i thought i was wasting my time but when it’s finished it’s actually quite good
and it’s shot in a very pretty toy-camera like quality

got to see tintin with my friend today

my friend thought it might have been boring but it was absolutely not!

i’ve never read any of the comic books but now i wish as a child i had indulged in them..but it’s never too late

my friend recently bought the Snoopy x Moleskin 50th year anniversary notebooks. i hope they’ll release a set of notebooks for tintin! they should! because he’s a journalist after all~~

and seriously, for an alcoholic, captain haddock sure gets things done

i kept thinking that i’ve never seen this movie when i have! i have!
many times but i could never recall the plot for some odd reason

so the other night i watched it again….
and i loved the houses and the apartments!

i love this apartment so much…

i’ve read somewhere that as a writer it is very important not to fantasize about this “writer’s life style” that one must lead to become a writer.. i definitely agree with it because everyone has different habits but it’s hard to not romanticize the writing life style when colin firth is writing in a cozy navy sweater on a little cottage somewhere in france..

for xmas this year i would like a type writer, not the new ones, an old one…that makes that clinking sound and a bell to congratulate you when you’ve finished a line
