I didn’t like the concept of her “slowly going mad” and reminiscing her whole life with the shadow of her deceased husband picking at the lose ends of her sanity. I wish they included more of her political doings rather than her later life. Thoroughly enjoyed Meryl Streep though.
Princess Toyotomi – B-
I watched it because it was set in Osaka and I really loved the opening scenes of a completely deserted city. When the scene was repeated at the end of the movie I realized that it was more than likely CG. the story of a secret country is interesting but poorly executed I think. The ending felt forced and unnatural… very unfortunate because i think it was beautifully shot. bonus: cameo from Hiroshi tamaki the takyoki man

i am listening to The Naked and Famous because my friend wants me to go to their show, I think I want to go to a show but I don’t know how I feel about their music yet. Also finally heard the born to die song by Lana Del Rey. I think she has a good voice but everything about her is so awkward that I have to stare directly at it. I like how her lips quiver a lot, or is that just my imagination? A lot of hate harbored towards her is because her dad is rich and produced her and people are pissed. I think that’s why I initially disliked her. but her awkwardness is so sincere that I know she’s probably at least a little bit talented.
I am not reading anything lately. I do enjoy reading but every time I read I am reminded that I am not writing and that kind of makes me feel guilty. But my new novel-in-progress is like, even I think I am trying too hard to create something that’s funny and insightful and I am writing from the point of view of a 20-something-year old male (oh yeah coming of age novel, you know it) and I really don’t know how to …make it funny and just vulgar enough.
lots of swearing though, don’t have to worry about that.
Oh yeah, I also had a job interview last Monday. the moment I stepped into the office I didn’t want the job anymore. I tried to look up the hourly pay wage on the website afterwards because I wanted to make the job worth my time. But the website is down so I couldn’t find out.
after a lot of worrying about whether I should take the job (because i think I behaved really well) I ended up not getting the job.
The lady called me and sounded sorry but she actually put me quite at ease so I felt really relieved.
I applied for a web writer job. Basically, UPDATE ALL THE BLOGS! I think I am capable of that…. also money’s so good it feels like it’s raining (but taxes are so high heel that it’ll just be cloudy).

2 commentsso i’ve been looking for a job, seriously! That means that i am editing my cover letter and resume to better display my skills to what is needed for each individual position. that’s a lot of work actually.
so far i’ve had no luck! not even things like grocery stores, or mobile stores…!
this is very difficult for a young person like myself :( because i sit at home and watch gintama and read books. it seems like an easy life but it’s hard schucks.
what made it worse is that this morning i got this email:
i’ve always thought it’d be cool to work at a grocery store! i love them…hence i thought it’d be cool to work at one. The imagery is interesting while the work and pay itself is not. I applied for a job at a grocery store before i started seriously looking for jobs.
And today i got that..

there have also been a lot of pitfalls that were high on the fraud level. there are a lot of really basic entry level jobs and once you’ve applied they will tell you that the position has been filled and they sort of direct you to another job that’s definitely fraud like, just think, something something dubia money transfer something, yeah delete that email right now!!
so everybody be careful, really shitty to scam on the unemployed
i’ve been making myself feel better with these shiba inu videos on youtube. the owner has two very beautiful shiba inus and she films them (naturally!!!!) for the increment of betterness of the real world!!!
and the other day i applied for a job for a company that seemed like a very legit real estate company but once i looked into it further it turned out that they added the word INC after the end of their domain email address and wasn’t the actual company, so that was a fraudulent too.
the videos aren’t as professionally done as say Maru or Shiro + gang but it’s adorable!1!

this is the first real m-flo thing in five YEARS! i hope they do go back to square one and bring back the sound that was PRISM and COME AGAIN and LOVE OR TRUTH and later in the m-flo loves years, LET GO, MISS YOU, THE LOVE BUG etc etc
they made a teaser video which apparently features bom from 2ne1, argh, they are not ready to work with m-flo yet you can actually hear a teaser of the song at the end of the video…
also came across this LET GO cover by some dude named shota, apparently DJ taku tried to contact him via twitter! I really hope they write a song for him because his voice is amazing!
