Went to Guu Garlic a couple of nights ago…!
The atmosphere was really good, the food was okay, the drinks were weak.
I think I’m going to stop drinking for a bit, because I always assume I’d have the best time ever and I rarely do anymore. I’m not saying I’m not having a good time, but my expectations are too high. I always feel gross afterwards and I have no money EVER.
So I think the next time I get invited to a drinking thing, (unless I REALLY want to go), I’ll just turn it down and put some cash in a jar, that will be labeled THE JAR THAT WILL GET ME A NEXUS ONE.

edit: google decided to stop selling the nexus one after this shipment, so im gonna buy it now, and worry about the money later. pfftt, i love google, but dont pull stunts like this! anyways i hope it doesnt sell out within the next week!

it’s called tuna tataki, where they put pieces of tuna (whole pieces not sashimi-like) and they put it in boiling water for like 10 seconds, the outside is cooked and the inside is raw
then they slice it
they can also do this with chicken
japanese ppl eat raw chicken (at least in japan)
im not sure if they do this here

All that food looks so good, so good that I couldn’t produce a coherent sentence and had to re-edit what I first typed because it didn’t make much sense haha.
I don’t really feel the effects of alcohol! I only get a bit giggly, haha. But yes! Save your monies! Don’t drink, too expensive. My friends got two bottles for soju for $40 and I was like eff, I’d rather a coke because this tastes like shit and costs a bomb.
[...] The Garden I went to Guu Garden tonight for a birthday party and it was great! I’ve never been (though i’ve been to Guu’s many other restaurants) but this one is my favorite! kind of zakka style and there’s a lot of room to sit compared to their other locations…. [...]
