Romantic Not disgusting Yet
3 commentsI had this fear of hearing my favorite musicians live, because JUST IN CASE, JUST IN CASE, they don’t sound as good. But i’ve never had that problem, every show i’ve seen with whoever i’m seeing exceeded my wildest expectations. and yeah you guessed it, i’m seeing Phoenix in September.
I guess as long as it’s not pop, live music won’t suck. (My fear stemmed from hearing Avril La vigne on The Grammys, I was at home, in front of a TV and she was not in tune, hey say what? she’s not good?)
i realized i love Phoenix when I heard his voice on the end of an Entourage episode. I rarely am able to pick out songs based solely on voice. But this, THIS!
September 26th, come sooner. (P.S. how adorable is their anglais ?)

I’ve heard of them before but I’ve never actually listened to any of their music. They’re great! Definitely have to check them out.
Awesome!! I definitely get you on the live-show worry, so far I’ve never been disappointed although Julian Casablancas of the Strokes was pretty balls-drunk in 2005 , LOL
I must say I have never had that fear before… I’ve always dissed pop performers on the telly though >< But i love how i love a band sooo much more when their live show blows me away. A lot of people don't like to listen to the band after the show, especially on the drive home (one of my best friends wont allow me), because they think it detracts from the show – but i absolutely looove it.
I'm so freaking jealous that you're seeing Phoenix! Stop seeing bands that I want to. Lisztomania!
