TIE ME UP AND NEVER LET ME GO

(i felt like this post need a hipster title, im going to bold this sentence so you’ll read it and won’t think i am a fucking hipster, -bold-)

i thought i’d put up a nice, how to buy a good pair of headphones, post. because, i am nice, and i have nothing else to do. so im looking for stuff to photograph in my room. going outside is overrated. oh, i got my hair cut today, but i wont post the before and after, because i dont want you to hate me.

it’s on my twitter though, -self promotion! self promotion, it’s what my generation taught me- and i took some artsy fartsy photographs of my past, and present (headphones).

1. Sony MDR EX-700 (i dont know if these are the SL or the EP? i didn’t pay what amazon said they cost, because i am not insane)
2. Aiwa BEST ONES THUS FAR, i dont know the model number
3. Audio-technica Most disappointing pair, bought them in Japan and died after 8 months
4. Sony MDR-EX51 Good enough, but shit ear buds, have your own to replace their crappy ones
5. Generic ones that come with your iphone or ipod / what can i say, it blows
6. brandless, Bought it because of the mic / good for what it costs, could be unclear

HOMIES

Cleaning out my drawer and found my entire set of Star Wars Bearbricks. Still in their original packaging. Those five are my favorite. Well, C3P0 is my favorite, because it’s reflective.

Also found a Darth Vader duplicate, and broke the leg off of the Jawa, in which I found another Jawa. Weird that I have two of them. I sold my stomach in order to get these, downed 30 Pepsis, not just any Pepsi, disgusting Pepsi Nex.

gonna start doing stuff soon, what, I do not know.

The Orion Experience – Obsessed with you

So, like any young girl, I had a pretty large stationary collection, featuring cute characters from various parts of Asia, mainly Korea and Japan. Yesterday, I realized that I still have most of these cute notepads and letter sheets. So, instead of hoarding them till I die. I decided to give them to my mom’s coworker’s 10 year old daughter.

I think I haven’t opened most of them, still in their original packaging. Which made me think about all the money i’ve spent on it, although NOW it seems a bit wasteful. But it made me pretty happy at one point or another, so it’s money well spent.

moral of the story is, buy only what you really want? Even if it’s more expensive than something else that you only want a little bit, but bought because it was cheaper. Or, just stop buying stuff.

Oh, who am i kidding, i shop everyday.

i’ve been trying pretty hard to remember to bring my camera around with me. i saw a super cute red Honda Jazz in the parking garage today, the lighting was just perfect and as i was about to take out my camera, i realized there’s this woman staring at me in a near-by parked car.

although i wasn’t doing anything really suspicious, but it was my natural instinct to leave with no fingerprints, so i decided to do my errand first then take the picture, guess what, the Honda Jazz was gone.

UGHHHH, the number of times that has happened, many.

It’s very hard to snap pictures everywhere. Especially in restaurants, but i’m visiting this ridiculous korean joint on friday so i’ll be brave. It’s summer time right now, so i’m not doing much, there are no unfortunate events of mine to brighten your day with.

once, my mom heard me grind my teeth in my sleep. she was worried that i’m a habitual teeth grinder. i’m not, but i also don’t know for sure. so tonight, before i go to sleep, i’ll leave my microphone on my ipod and hopefully we’ll get some audio clips in the morning.

fingers crossed for NO, i HATE GOING TO THE DENTIST…! But i mean, who likes going.

(yes, this is the inside of my car, i drive a 2002 Nissan Sentra, someone come and p*imp my ride?)

Romantic Not disgusting Yet

I had this fear of hearing my favorite musicians live, because JUST IN CASE, JUST IN CASE, they don’t sound as good. But i’ve never had that problem, every show i’ve seen with whoever i’m seeing exceeded my wildest expectations. and yeah you guessed it, i’m seeing Phoenix in September.

I guess as long as it’s not pop, live music won’t suck. (My fear stemmed from hearing Avril La vigne on The Grammys, I was at home, in front of a TV and she was not in tune, hey say what? she’s not good?)

i realized i love Phoenix when I heard his voice on the end of an Entourage episode. I rarely am able to pick out songs based solely on voice. But this, THIS!

September 26th, come sooner. (P.S. how adorable is their anglais ?)
